Ordered this case (with a few others) as part of the August 2024 Free Shipping weekend. After many delays it eventually shipped about 12 weeks later, and arrived a few days after that - so about 12.5 weeks total from date ordered to date received.
Laura was responsive to my inquiries, and although her emails didn't really offer any real clarification or explanation for the delay, nor accurate estimated remaining wait times, she did relay what info she had. That said, even if there were no manufacturing delays, 4-6 week manufacturing time seems a bit much for a product like this, even with it being made to order.
The case itself is great; the laser-etched plaque and the background really enhances the premium feel that a product like this gives to a LEGO set. However there were 2 surprises. First, regarding the plaque: it was packaged within a box for another case, so I'm glad I opened and assembled all 3 cases before emailing customer service inquiring how they forgot a piece. Second, regarding the background: I had to apply the background decal to the back panel myself (relatively easy to do, thanks to the laser-etched lines on the back panel, but still was an unexpected step in the assembly process, and a decal this large is difficult to install perfectly straight). The rest of assembly was intuitive, but no printed directions may make assembly difficult for some customers (I know there's a video showing assembly, but some people still prefer good old printed directions). The case packed very well, and arrived in the Northeastern USA undamaged, despite some damage and creases on the box. Props to the shipping department on that!
Overall the product is great, and the price was fair, compared to other companies. I'm definitely satisfied now that I finally have the product in my possession, fully assembled, and LEGO set placed inside. But, the experience with this company (incredibly-long manufacturing time and lack of actual helpful info from customer service) has me considering other, USA-based, companies. 5 stars for the product, 2 stars for the overall experience.
