Description

Introducing our Limited Edition display case for the LEGO® Ideas: The Orient Express Train set. This limited run display case has been built to stand out from your collection with dual UV printed panels and an alternate display configuration. A bespoke set of stems slot into the back panel to suspend the roof of your carriages mid air allowing you to admire the intricate details within. Crafted from premium Acrylic, this display case has been built to showcase your iconic train in all its glory.

Our dual printed panels place your set into an antique style display scene. A deep wood effect base sits below your set whilst the back panel is adorned with a collection of Orient Express memorabilia. Our refined printing technique allows for a glossy and vibrant finish across both panels.

Embedded studs within the base hold your included Minifigures securely in place. A set of precisely engineered stoppers hold your set securely in place in the centre of the display. Our unique number identifier brick slots into place on the left of the display whilst our bespoke raised informational plaque sits in front of your train.

They are not included. Those are sold separately. If you haven't got your LEGO® set yet, you can purchase it directly through the LEGO® online shop here.

When will it be delivered? 

We make every display case by hand. And ship them to every corner of the globe. Delivery times change depending on our workload. Please check the delivery page. It will tell you how quickly we’ll get your item from our factory to your front door.

A note from our background artist

"From the outset, I knew I wanted to create a design that pays homage to the prestigious history of The Orient Express. I decided to follow the same style that we have used for some of our other historic themed sets (Concorde and the Titanic) so I immediately started my research and began gathering reference material.

I gathered a number of reference pieces and set about re-imagining them within the design. I looked to use a mix of assets to celebrate the long running history of the train with tickets, newspaper clippings and a map of the famous route. These pieces have been framed and pinned up on a background wall inspired by the interior of the carriages.

Blue and gold were chosen for the background to bring an Art Deco feel to the design, like you would see inside the carriages of the train itself. This is further complemented by the dark wood effect base plate print which gives a warm and homely feel, especially when combined with the contrasting gold elements. "
